The Tata Building India School Essay Competition is one of the key initiatives undertaken by the Tata Group to ignite the imagination of the young and to instill a sense of pride and spirit of nation building in India’s youth. Held annually at schools in over 500 cities, it motivates students from Classes 6 to 12 to reflect on nation-building topics, encouraging not only their creativity but also the regular practice of writing. Students compete at the school, city, and national levels, earning rewards and recognition at every stage, in line with Tata’s vision of nurturing India's youth for a brighter future.
